One Smart Tip Per Week to Help You Build What Matters

We’re right where you are. Juggling big goals, tight timelines, and the kind of to-do list that never seems to shrink. We know you want to keep your brand strong and your message clear—but you don’t have hours to sift through clickbait and marketing fluff.

That’s where Whats the Buzz? comes in.

After months of planning (and a ton of encouragement from clients and colleagues), we’re launching Whats the Buzz?, our new weekly newsletter designed specifically for people like you: mission-driven professionals in nonprofit, education, government, and small and mid-size business who want actionable advice, not empty buzzwords.

Each email delivers a bite-sized tip you can read in 30 seconds or less. We’ll focus on real-world strategies and fresh thinking, all drawn from the work we do every day in Morgantown and beyond.

And if you want more detail, we’ll have you covered. Each tip will come with an expanded version in email, plus a deeper dive on our blog and LinkedIn page.

Why we’re putting in the work.

We support leaders and staff who wear a lot of hats. Often, they don’t have the time (or internal support) to step back and rethink their communication strategy—but they do want to do better. They want smarter messaging, stronger design, and more consistent marketing and outreach, without adding to their already full plates.

Addressing this need is at the heart of Whats the Buzz?: thoughtful, right-sized advice that meets you at the junction of where you are and where you want to be.

You’ll see topics like:

  • A simple test to see if your message is too vague
  • How to reuse one great idea across five channels
  • Tips for visual storytelling, even if you’re not a designer
  • How to spot an outdated brand before your audience does

And occasional reminders to stop and take a breath. This work is a marathon, not a sprint.

Ready to join us? Here’s how.

Sign up today, and you’ll be first in line when the series launches.

Do you know a colleague or friend who could use less overwhelm and more communications clarity? Share the link and invite them to join too.

Thank you for being part of our creative community.

At Apis Creative, we believe your brand should work as hard as you do. Let’s build something better together—one smart tip at a time.

Buzzing with curiosity? So are we! Let's talk.

AI tools can make content creation faster and easier—but only if you use them the right way. Otherwise, you risk winding up with generic, robotic-sounding content that doesn’t reflect your brand. So here’s our best advice to start smart: 🧠 Use AI for a running start, not a finished product. Think of AI as your brainstorming buddy. It’s great at helping you generate outlines, ideas, and starting points—but the final polish still needs your voice, judgment, and audience expertise. If you’re new to AI tools like ChatGPT, here are a few safe and smart ways to begin: Generate a few different versions of your headline or email subject line and pick your favorite. Ask for five ideas for social media posts based on an article or blog you’ve already written. Feed it a draft paragraph and ask, “Can you rewrite this more clearly for a general audience?” 🛑 What to avoid: letting AI do the thinking for you. AI can guess what sounds right—but it doesn’t know your strategy, your goals, or your people. Don’t let speed trade off for substance. ✅ What to embrace: using AI to get unstuck. Writer’s block, fatigue, and time crunches are real. Let AI give you a push, but steer the ship yourself. This is the first in our new Create Your Buzz weekly series. Check back next week for our next quick marketing win—or sign up to get it by email .
